These 2, just because they are on my desk top.
Monica Bellucci & Vincent Cassel

This doggie-guy named Lincoln was staring at me at the Jazz Fest the other eve in St Johns, PDX. He is a people magnet. I did everything I could to resist him, but as he was leaving I got to say hello.

With the help of Brad, this one is finally looking better.

New wood to paint on

Martin Puryear and Mark Pascal have the same initials. My friend Mark Pascal compiled and wrote MARTIN PURYEAR / MULTIPLE DIMENSOINS, about the wonderful sculptor, Martin Puryear’s work as a consummate printmaker.
Rex. My neighbors pup, is no longer with us. I did this painting (and all the dog paintings) a long time ago and kept it because I liked it, and loved Rex. But now it is time to give it to my neighbors as a 35th wedding anniversary gift. Rex was one of a kind, a big dog in a little dog’s body.

2 more of Rex. (He was not 3 legged, may need to give him another leg!)

Maquah and Axel
Axel’s tag needs to be straightened!

Tag says: BILL 18 BLIND
It was supposed to say: BILL IS BLIND
Travis, Love o’ my life

This is Ted’s Version of Travis

Working on this one.

Not all the paintings traveled by ground to Chicago. Some of them hid.

Reworking this one.

This one is varnished with cold wax medium, which worked well on the smaller pieces.
The bigger ones have a matte/satin varnish.
Bye bye Lil’bit.
Drying in the sun.

Brad is watching me start this new one.

So are these guys.

Hats off to Thomas Hart Benton, again.

Painting on the left was stolen from a gallery wall the afternoon before the opening. (I was bummed, so I repainted it — painting on the right.) They think this guy just stuck it in his pocket and walked out of the gallery. If you find it, let me know.
Working on this one upside down. Can you guess who it is?
